Al. paed. 3, 10; doch nicht immer in tadelnder Bdtg, sondern auch zuweilen von zarter, jugendlich weicher und üppiger Reizesfülle, wie τρυφερός, Anacr. 54. – [Die Accentuation σαυλός ist falsch, Arcad. 53, 8 E. M. 270, 45.] – Wahrscheinlich mit σάλος verwandt.
